A Funan spokesperson said on Wednesday that they were alerted to an incident involving several cars at the mall’s car park on Tuesday evening.

No one was injured, the spokesperson said in response to CNA’s queries.

As a safety precaution, the affected areas and the car park entrance at North Bridge Road were immediately cordoned off. The entrance will remain closed “for the time being”.

“We are investigating the cause of the incident and are providing the necessary assistance to the affected drivers,” the spokesperson added.

Shoppers are advised to access Funan mall’s car park via Hill Street.

“The safety and well-being of our shoppers are of utmost importance,” the spokesperson said. “We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused.”
