The National Council of Social Service is looking to grow its base of regular volunteers through partnerships between corporates and community partners. By 2030 it hopes one in two volunteers will commit more time to help others. Deputy Prime Minister Heng Swee Keat also urged corporates and social service agencies to grow and sustain volunteerism. Mr Heng made the call at the Singapore Volunteer Management Conference, where 26 such partnerships were recognised.
