They’re like a neighbourhood watch, but instead of keeping streets safe, their job is to keep streets clean. Resident volunteers in private residential neighbourhoods are helping the National Environment Agency (NEA) keep public areas tidy and free of pests and hazards. It’s part of a so-called Community Auditors programme that’s saving NEA both manpower and man hours.
