Twice’s leader Jihyo is rumoured to be dating Olympic skeleton gold medallist and Physical: 100 Season 1 contestant Yun Sung-bin.

Their relationship began about a year ago, reported South Korean media outlet Sway on Sunday (Mar 24), adding that they were introduced to each other by an acquaintance and grew closer due to their mutual love of exercise.

The media outlet also reported that Jihyo, 27, and Yun, 29, have been visiting each other’s houses as they live within a five-minute drive of each other.

Both celebrities’ agencies did not confirm or deny the dating rumours.

On Monday, Jihyo’s agency JYP Entertainment said: “It is difficult to confirm this matter as it is a private matter. We ask for your understanding.”

Likewise, Yun’s agency All That Sports said: “Since he is not an active athlete, we do not manage his private life. It is difficult to confirm.”

The pair have both made appearances in the MBC reality show I Live Alone, which features the daily routines of celebrities who live on their own.

Jihyo debuted with Twice in 2015. She released her first solo album Killin’ Me Good last year.

Meanwhile, Yun is a former member of South Korea’s national skeleton team, who retired after the Beijing Winter Olympics in 2022. He clinched the gold medal in the men’s skeleton at the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, becoming the first Asian to win in this category.
