Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei has vowed not to surrender to the US, warning that any repeat aggression would come at a great cost. US President Donald Trump has doubled down on his claim that nuclear sites in Iran had been “obliterated”. Meanwhile, US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has held a press conference at the Pentagon, praising Mr Trump for spearheading the most “complex and secretive” military operation in history.
