SINGAPORE: A 26-year-old male motorcyclist was killed in a road traffic accident on Wednesday (Apr 24) morning along the Pan Island Expressway (PIE).
The police were alerted to an accident involving a lorry and a motorcycle at about 10.15am, they said on Wednesday in response to CNA’s queries.
The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) told CNA it was alerted to the accident, which happened along PIE towards Kranji Expressway (KJE) after the Jalan Bahar exit, at about 10.20am.
A 26-year-old male motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene by an SCDF paramedic, it added.
Investigations are ongoing.
