British actor Henry Cavill is set to be a dad after he confirmed that his longtime girlfriend Natalie Viscuso is pregnant with the couple’s first child.
The news was first reported by US entertainment news outlet Access Hollywood which interviewed Cavill during the premiere of his new film The Ministry Of Ungentlemanly Warfare.
The couple sparked pregnancy rumours after Viscuso was spotted with a baby bump in New York City earlier in the week.
During the interview, Access Hollywood asked Cavill if working with costar Henry Golding “inspired” him to take on fatherhood, to which Cavill replied, confirming the pregnancy news: “He didn’t inspire me to do that. My parents did. I’m very excited about it, and Natalie and I are both very excited.”
He then proceeded to thank the interviewer after she told him that he “was going to be a great dad”.
